Vikram's Karikalan Shelved

Karikalan, a historical action movie, boasting of path-breaking CG work to be directed by L. I. Kannan

featuring Vikram and Zarine Khan in the lead roles is now shelved. Music was slated to be composed by G.
V. Prakash Kumar. The movie is produced by SS Vasan and S Parthiban of Silver Line Film Factory.

Producers call it quits

Karikalan has not gone for a shooting schedule so far with Vikram. However, a lot of effort has been done
on Computer Graphics till date. The director in an interview suggested that 25% of the movie has been
complete and expected to start the next schedule with Vikram in June after completion of Thandavam. Theproduction house assessed the cost and progress made till date and decided to call off the project. The
producers felt that it was economically not feasible to continue the project.

The Producers are hunting for a Director

The producer has given advance payment to Vikram and a number of technicians, including GV Prakash and
the story-writer Gandhi Krishna who directed Chellamae and Ananda Thandavam. The producer is planning
to use Vikram's dates for a movie with a new director and a fresh script. Producers are talking to a number
of directors to start a new movie with Vikram starting in second half of 2013, immediately following the
completion of Shankar's next movie.

A.R.Rahman for Dhanush's Raanjhnaa

  

Dhanush is gearing up for his Bollywood debut with raanjhnaa to be directed by Anand L.Rai of  'Tanu weds Manu' fame. Dhanush was impressed with the script and felt it as a perfect launchpad for his B-Town entry and is confident to make a mark through his flim. Dhanush's plays a Varnasi boy and will romance with Sonam Kapoor. While the flim is set to go on floors shortly on this month, Kolaveri star has yet another reason to rejoice. Musical legend A.R. Rahman will score the music for the flim. The music mastero who is choosy about his project has liked the script and agreed to compose for the flim.

It is  "double dhamaka" for Dhanush as A.R. Rahman is set to score the music for two of his flims MARIYAAN directed by Bala and Raanjhnaa. Dhanush is currently shooting for Mariyaan in Africa. A.R. Rahman is buzzed to sung a song in Mariyaan.

Saguni and Billa2 on the clash

June 22 is to be a big day of celebration for all movie lovers. the day will witness the clash of the two most awaited biggies of the year "Billa 2" and "Saguni" .

Saguni the most awaited political thriller starring Karthi, Praneetha and Santhanam in pivotal roles is getting ready for censor today. According to the sources, Saguni will now hit the screens on June 22 along with the Billa 2. Earlier the flim was buzzed to be released on June 6, two weeks after Billa 2  releases. the makers have now decided to release it on the same day as Billa 2 further delaying the release.

Billa 2 the eagerly awaited action entertainer of  THALA  is also getting ready for sensor in next week June 11. The makers of Billa 2 have also targeted the same day June 22 for the release.

Both the flims have strried in lot of expectations among the audience in their own way. It's been more than a year since Karthi's flim hit the screens and it has been quite a long wait to see him rock on screen. On the other hand, Billa 2 being the prequel of the blockbuster Billa has garnered a lot of attention. Fans are eager to catch up with Ajith in his stylish action.

There is a happy news for fans awaiting kamal Hassan's  "VISHWAROOPAM" .As the legendary actor is getting ready to showcase his flim at IIFA Singapore,the stills and trailers will be released here in the media. A new trailer with running time of 1.5 minutes will be screened in all the theatres accross the India from 

JUNE 9.

Ajith to sport a natural look !

Ajith's next flim with Vishnuvardhan has kickstarted and the team has started shooting in Mumbai with Ajith, Arya and Nayanthara . Ajith will be acting without make-up in the flim. The actor conciously  wants to play character that go with his age and prefer to sport his natural look.

Ajith's salt-and-pepper look in Mankatha got the loudest cheer from the audience. Ajith is buzzed to play a middle aged man in the flim. this flim is produced by A.M.Ratnam and music by Yuvan.

Neethane En Ponvasantham Audio Promo Release 

A promo song from Gautham Menon's Neethane En Ponvasantham was released last week one of the evening of Illayaraja's b'day.The songs are much expected because of a couple key factors.one of the factor is the illayaraja is composing the songs in a good manner at London with live recording.

Saindhu Saindhu is the first promo song of the flim among the 8 tracks.which recieved various response from the fans club.this is the first flim of Gautham which fails to have the Thamarai's lyrics.
